How I Create a Painting From Start To Finish

Want to see how I create a painting on canvas from start to finish?

Whether you are a beginner or professional, watching other artists paint can be inspiring. It doesn’t matter if you prefer a different medium or method … acrylic or oil, if you like to paint on canvas or wood, if you prefer abstract, expressionism, or realism… or if you are just learning to paint or have been painting for years.

I am in the middle of re-doing my home art studio/kid’s playroom. The current situation isn’t very pretty but’s it’s getting there and I can’t wait to start painting again.

If you follow me on Facebook and Instagram Stories you saw last week that I was blessed with a good nap time for my two 3 year old’s. I took full advantage of that blessing and turned on some good music, lit a candle (me diffuser is on the fritz) and got to painting.

I created this quick video of me painting from start to finish.

Sometimes watching other creatives in their flow can help me get inspired and get that creative mojo going so I thought I would share it with you here.

I’ve also got some fun things in the works and I can’t wait to really get the wheels going on them and get them to you! This is a little teaser… just because I love ya!
